We are the workplace health and safety regulator for New South Wales. We provide information and advice on improving health and safety, work with businesses to provide effective solutions to safety issues and collaborate with industry to develop best practice programs. We provide licences and registration for high risk work, investigate workplace incidents and enforce work health and safety laws in NSW.
With more than a third of Australia's economic output coming from NSW, the work we do is vital to keeping all workplaces safe and healthy. We receive over 200,000 calls and 10,000 emails from workers and employers each year, and issue more than 200,000 licences, notifications, and certificates and permits.
