Western Division Wild Dog Project

AWI fund Wild Dog Coordinators, the purpose of wild dog control coordinators is to work with woolgrowers and other livestock producers, public land managers, industry bodies, government departments and other stakeholders in reducing the impact of wild dog predation on livestock. Practices involve:

- providing landholders with across-group coordination
- removing barriers to participation or control
- coordinating training or education needs
- introducing technologies such as aerial/ground baiting with 1080
- identifying issues to be solved
