2. Animal Welfare - Community expectations

Over the next couple of years Animal Health Australia will be review the Codes of Practise for all animal production systems. The Committee has taken an active interest into the review of the Transport code of Practise and will continue to monitor the recommended changes to the Sheep Code, when the review is undertaken, to ensure producer’s interests are considered and unworkable regulations are avoided.
