3. Working with the Catchment Management Authority's

The Council is aiming to ensure that a good working relationship is established with the CMAs so that extensive and meaningful consultation occurs on the local issues including water, invasive scrub and other native vegetation issues.

Due to the large role that the CMAs’ will play in regards to native vegetation and water issues the Council is monitoring landholders views to lobby for necessary changes and reforms as required.

The Council is continuing its support of local Native Vegetation/Invasive Scrub issues including the Cobar Community plan.
