TERTIARY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - 2012
APPLICATION FORM

Applications have now opened for the NSW Farmers Association Tertiary Scholarships Program.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE 10 FEBRUARY 2012.

This year, there are eight $5,000 scholarships on offer as follows:

1. Goobang Scholarship Vocational: A full-time student in their first or second year of full-time study at a vocational level (e.g. Tocal).
2. Goobang Scholarship Region 6: A student from NSW Farmers’ Association’s Region 6. Region 6 includes District Councils of Bathurst, Blayney, Molong, Mudgee, Oberon, Orange and Wellington.
3. Goobang Scholarship Open Category: A full-time student in their second or subsequent year, undertaking any course of more than one year at a recognised tertiary institution.
4. Goobang Scholarship Open Category: A full-time student in their second or subsequent year, undertaking any course of more than one year at a recognised tertiary institution.
5. Association Agriculture Scholarship: A full-time student in their second or subsequent year, undertaking a course in agriculture of more than one year at a recognised tertiary institution.
6. Association Open Category Scholarship: A full-time student in their second or subsequent year, undertaking any course of more than one year at a recognised tertiary institution.
7. Association Open Category Scholarship: A full-time student in their second or subsequent year, undertaking any course of more than one year at a recognised tertiary institution.
8. Association Open Category Scholarship: A full-time student in their second or subsequent year, undertaking any course of more than one year at a recognised tertiary institution.

f) Please also include written reports from two referees which address the following areas:
1. Commitment to agriculture/rural communities
2. Leadership qualities and communication skills
3. Tertiary academic standards

Please note that the result of your application may not be known before the new Term begins and that short listed applicants will be asked to attend an interview in Sydney in the Easter break.
