Practical Information for Delegates
The Victorian Farmers Federation is offering growers and interested parties to participate in a study tour to the Agricultural Land Reserve in British Columbia, Canada. The tour is fully funded by delegates and can include an optional cruise to Alaska following the study tour.
Costs
The cost of the tour per delegate is $4900 (inc taxes and fuel surcharges) for members of Victorian Farmers Federation or NSW Farmers and $5700 (inc taxes and fuel surcharges) for non-members. Australian passport holders do not require a visa for Canada. A deposit of $3000 is due on sending in the registration form. The cost covers:
Personal items such as travel insurance, international departure taxes and spending monies are not included. Meals are included as indicated. B=Breakfast, no lunches, D=Dinner
Accommodation
All accommodation will be pre-booked. Accommodation is in a double/twin room unless otherwise requested.
Optional Tour
A 7 night Alaskan Cruise is being offered as an optional extra for delegates. The cruise will depart Vancouver on Sunday 27th May and return to Vancouver on Sunday 3 June 2012. The cruise takes in Icy Strait Point, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau and Ketchikan. Tour costs start at $1410.00.
