Employment relations experts Griffith-bound

Are you involved in the running of a business in the Griffith or surrounding areas? Do you employ or manage staff - full time, part time or casual - or contractors?

NSW Farmers is bringing its employment relations experts to Griffith and they want to catch up with you.

NSW Farmers’ Industrial Relations Manager Matt Waring and Industrial Relations Advisor Grant Smith will be the keynote speakers at a seminar to be held at Griffith Exies Club on Thursday 22 May from 6.30 to 8.30pm.

Mr Waring said information would be available on awards, pay rates, contracts, disputes and the new bullying laws.

“Some people may not be aware that NSW Farmers provides a specialised employment advice service for its members,” he said.

“As an association, we receive hundreds of phone calls a week from employers and managers wanting to know where they stand on employment issues.

“We can assist with the drawing up of contracts, representing employers in disputes and providing advice that can potentially save you a lot of time and money.

“Employment legislation can be a bit of a minefield and we can help take the complexity out of it for you.”

The seminar is open to association members for free and non-members for $20 per head ( payable on the evening). Refreshments will be provided.
