List of eligible educative interactions

To qualify for the rebates, applicants are required to attend an eligible educative interaction prior to the purchase of any eligible safety solution. An eligible educative interaction includes participating in a online webinar or attendance at an eligible safety event operated by SafeWork NSW such as (i) Farm Safety Day, (ii) Agricultural Field Day, and/or (iii) engage in a Safety Advisory Visit with a member of SafeWork NSW staff to discuss quad bike safety relevant to your business.

Safety Advisory Visits

SafeWork NSW staff are available to attend community meetings by prior arrangement to discuss quad bike safety, to enable the meeting to be considered as an eligible educative interaction. To arrange this, please email quadbikesafety@safework.nsw.gov.au or qdsip@nswfarmers.org.au

Remote and Regional Training Events

SafeWork NSW has partnered with Tocal College to deliver up to 100 free one-day training events in remote and regional locations across NSW. From 8 May 2017, free training will also be available through authorised Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Eligible farmers and their workers who complete this training also receive a free helmet compliant to NZS8600:2002.

Attendance at these training events act as an eligible educative interaction and give eligible business owners and/or their workers access to the rebates on offer. If you organise 6 participants, Tocal can come to you.

Webinar

By attending this FREE webinar you may be eligible to receive the quad bike safety rebate, to apply for a rebate you must watch the entire webinar, answer some question during the webinar and complete the survey at the end. You will then receive a Certificate of Attendance to attach to your quad bike safety application.  Click here to view the webinar.
