Cattle Committee

Cattle_Thumbnail The Cattle Committee's role is to intervene at Government and industry level to progress issues that impact upon the profitability and sustainability of the Association's beef cattle producer members.

The Committee largely focuses on the needs of beef cattle producer members, as identified by Annual Conference, the Association's primary policy making body.

The Committee primarily focuses on state-based issues by addressing the rules and regulations imposed by NSW Industry & Investment, and are particularly active in the animal health area, as this is the State Government's primary regulatory role.

The Cattle Committee is also influential at the national level as the Association is a large shareholder of Cattle Council of Australia (CCA).
