Grains

The NSW grains industry is valued at $2.24billion which represents 30% of the national total. The Grains Committee of the NSW Farmers' Association address a broad range of industry issues, with the aim of improving the profitability and the overall business environment for our grain growing members.

The staff in the grain section of the Associations Sydney office provide research and secretariat support for  the Grains Committee, and associated sub committees, such as the Biotechnology Taskforce, and the Grains Research, Development and Extension Taskforce. The Grains Committee with the assistance of their dedicated staff maintain close ties with key industry representatives in order to keep abreast of the latest issues emerging within the grains industry.

Grains policy staff are available on 1300 794 000 to provide assistance with Grains Committee and Association Policy issues. You are also encouraged to call if you require assistance with grain contract disputes, general grain marketing issues, or you need information on something that you are hearing about in the media
