The Associations Rural Affairs Committee and policy team strive to improve the access of rural and remote farmers across the state to adequate services and programs.  The Rural Affairs Committee, chaired by Board member Alan Brown, works on behalf of the Association to champion the issues at the heart of rural and remote NSW, ranging from health, education and training to telecommunications, community development, bushfires and drought.

Priority Issues

Whilst the Rural Affairs team addresses a wide range of issues, the Rural Affairs Committee has identified the following priority issues:
