Lockhart Branch Cowal Mine Day Trip
NSW Farmers' Lockhart Branch invites members and friends to join them on a tour to the Lake Cowal Gold Mine. The Cowal gold operation located near West Wyalong is a world-class, open pit gold operation located 350km west of Sydney. It is situated within the Bland, Lachlan and Forbes Shires on the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri People.
A full schedule is promised for attendees with a tour of the site including morning tea and lunch before heading across to the Lake Cowal Conservation Centre for a tour.
As the mine is a working site safety is paramount: Failure to comply to these dress regulations will prevent you from access to the mine and tour.
