What We Do
Advocacy for Members:
We represent our Members on critical employment-related issues, such as minimum wage adjustments, workers’ compensation reforms, and modern award reviews. Our advocacy ensures that the voices of farming businesses are heard at both state and national levels.
Keeping Members Informed:
Stay up-to-date with changes in employment law through our regular updates and insights into current workplace relations issues, helping you stay ahead in a dynamic regulatory environment.
Expert Advice and Guidance:
We provide timely, tailored advice to subscribers, offering support for all employment matters—whether straightforward or complex—in their farming businesses. Our team is here to help with any question or concern, big or small. Most of our work involves one-on-one support through our dedicated Advice Line, where we provide practical solutions to help subscribers confidently manage their workforce challenges.
Document Support and Resources:
Our team can assist with drafting essential employment documents, including contracts, Individual Flexibility Arrangements (IFAs), and workplace policies and procedures. To further support members, we offer a library of resources and templates to simplify employment compliance.
Tribunal and Commission Representation:
Support is readily available to our subscribers when representation is needed in tribunal matters or dealings with the Fair Work Ombudsman or Fair Work Commission. Our team provides expert advocacy and guidance to navigate these critical situations with confidence.
The NSW Farmers (Industrial) Association
The NSW Farmers’ (Industrial) Association exists to advocate the collective interests of NSW Farmers’ Members on all employment related issues and to provide members with day to day assistance in managing their workforce.
