Orange Branch Annual & General Meetings

NSW Farmers' Orange Branch invites members and non-members to its Annual and General Meetings to be held at Orange City Bowling Club "Warrendine Room" on 4 April at 6pm for 6:30pm start.

 

NSWF Orange Branch want your input for the Branch Annual Strategic Plan (ASP). Submit your top 5 issues for consideration in the 2024/2025 ASP. Your input will guide the Branch executive in addressing member needs, future guests, planning future actions and events. The ASP is reviewed at the Branch General Meeting following the Branch Annual Meeting. Use the register button to submit your input.

 

Guest speakers:

  • Tom Lukeman - Cadia Mine, General Manager - providing an update on Cadia mining operation - both current and future, and a focus on agricultural cross overs.
  • Scott Sharman - Premier Advisory, Farm Business Advisor - discussing how they can assist landowners with implications and maximize your compensation from renewable projects through your NSW Farmers member benefit.

Current Branch Chair, Annette Brown and Branch Secretary, Graham Brown, are both stepping down from their positions after many years. They are not nominating for re-election for 2024.

 

Following the Annual Meeting a General Meeting will be opened.

  • Motions for Annual Conference/Executive Council Meeting - An opportunity for members to assist in the direction of your organisation moving forward. Please consider providing proposed motions in your RSVP, this will allow us to check for an existing policy and/or background to the issue.

Please note: TEN [10] voting members are required to form a quorum. The Branch is eligible to send FIVE [5] delegates to Annual Conference.

 

Members are encouraged to bring a non-member as a guest and introduce them to the benefits of NSW Farmers' membership.
