Tackling Rural Crime/Drought Preparedness Workshops - Moree
NSW Farmers Moree Branch invites you to attend a Rural Crime workshop designed to raise concerns involving Rural Crime in your area. This workshop will commence at 6pm and the Drought Preparedness Workshop will commence at 3.30pm.
We are excited to invite you to a highly informative and engaging Rural Crime Workshop aimed at enhancing the safety and security of our community. Your active participation is crucial in creating a secure and thriving environment for all of us. Together, we can address the challenges we face and work towards effective solutions to reduce criminal activity in our area.
Feel free to bring along your friends, family members, and neighbours who might also be interested in joining this important conversation.
NSW Farmers in conjunction with WFI Insurance have special guests from:
Rural Crime Prevention Team, NSW Police Force
: The Rural Crime Prevention Team will provide information on how to report rural crime and methods to use to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime. Followed with the opportunity to ask questions and talk to the team.
Integrity Systems
: Integrity Systems are attending some events to provide Farmers with an overview and assistance with the NLIS.
WFI Insurance
: WFI Insurance Representatives will speak at about general insurance when affected by rural crime and the important tips you may need. NSW Farmers Regional Service Manager : Introduction to NSW Farmers member benefits including our Work place relations, member savings then discuss what NSW Farmers are doing to support you, plus how you can get involved to drive change via our advocacy.
Bunnings Warehouse (security solutions)
: Bunnings Warehouse will be in attendance at some events to discuss security products to assist in preventing Rural Crime with Exclusive NSW Farmer member offers.
This workshop will provide a platform for us to learn from each other, share experiences, and explore innovative ways to tackle the challenges related to criminal activity in our rural community. We believe that by coming together, we can make a tangible difference in enhancing our safety and well-being.

Drought Preparedness Workshops
• 3.30pm – Mel Stokman – TSR Ranger, Moree will present on current TSR conditions and current allowable uses.
• 4pm – Kathy Rankin NSW Farmers Acting Head of Policy and Advocacy representing NSW Farmers.
• 4.30pm - Tim Daly – Senior Biosecurity Officer, Moree – will present on NWLLS F’24 Feral Pig Control program and pig control methods.
• 5pm - DPI to speak on Drought Feeding tools and drought preparedness.
