Making decisions about the future of your farm and family can be one of the most important and challenging choices you will ever face.
NSW Farmers, in conjunction with Cater and Blumer and WFI, invites members, farmers and their families to attend a series of Succession Planning Seminars designed to provide practical, expert guidance in a relaxed and supportive environment.
These sessions bring together trusted professionals with deep experience working alongside farming families across New South Wales.
What will be covered?
The seminars will explore key considerations in farm succession planning, including:
• Starting the succession conversation with family
• Understanding legal structures, wills and estate planning
• Managing fairness between on farm and off farm family members
• Tax, financial and business implications of succession decisions
• Transition planning and timing
• Managing risk and protecting family relationships
• Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Each session is designed to be practical, relevant and grounded in real world farming examples.
Speak with the experts
Following the formal session, attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with the presenters from Cater and Blumer and WFI.
Stay on for a cold beverage and a bite to eat, ask questions, and continue the conversation in an informal setting.
Places are limited and registrations are essential.
We encourage members at all stages of succession planning to attend. Whether you are just starting to think about the future or are well into the process, these sessions will provide valuable insights and practical next steps.
